Pidurutalagala

Pidurutalagala (pronounced [ˌpidurutaˈlaːgələ], literally "straw plateau rock", also known as Mount Pedro) is a mountain in the central hill-country of Sri Lanka, close to the city of Nuwara Eliya. At a height of 2.534 metres (8,281 feet), it is the highest mountain in Sri Lanka. The peak is a military area which is closed to the public.
