Noam Pitlik (November 4, 1932February 18, 1999) was a television director and character actor. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Directing credits include situation comedies Barney Miller, Wings, Night Court, Mr. Belvedere, Off the Rack (TV series) and Taxi.

As an actor, he appeared on TV shows like Sanford and Son in 1972 where he played Officer Swanhauser (aka "Swany") a white cop whose partner Officer Smith (aka "Smitty") played by Hal Williams (later went to do 227). In the second season, he was replaced by Officer Hopkins (aka "Hoppy") played by Howard Platt.

Other familiar acting credits include Hogan's Heroes, where he appeared in various roles as German characters. He played a spy pretending to be a new POW in the seldom-seen series pilot. He also played Mister Gianelli on The Bob Newhart Show, one of Dr. Robert Hartley's patients until he was crushed to death by a truckload of zucchini.

He died from lung cancer in 1999 in Los Angeles, CA at the age of 66.
