Hyderabad,_India Portaledit Hyderabad or Hyderābād (హైదరాబాదు in Telugu, حیدر آباد in Urdu), the 5th largest metropolis of India, is the capital of the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is known for its rich history and culture with monuments, mosques, temples, and a rich and varied heritage in arts, crafts and dance. Along with Secunderabad, its twin city, they make up the New IT and Bio-Technology Hub in India.
