George Bastl (born April 1, 1975 in Chicago, Illinois) is a professional tennis player from Switzerland.

He has reached one singles final in his career -- at Tashkent in 1999.

He was an All-American at the University of Southern California.

His biggest win was a five-set match in the second round at Wimbledon in 2002, defeating seven-time Wimbledon singles champion Pete Sampras. On May 1, 2000, Bastl was ranked No. 71 in the world in the ATP Rankings, his highest career ranking to date. As of May 26, 2008, he is ranked 294th in the ATP Rankings.
