Gemma Hunt (born April 1, 1982[citation needed] in Wiltshire) was a CBBC presenter who used to be on the TV series Xchange.[citation needed]

Gemma’s big break came when she showed initiative after a talk given by a representative from an agency.[citation needed]

She went to school at the John of Gaunt School in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.

She decided to have a chat with the agency rep, who was impressed with her background in amateur dramatics and the fact she already had a showreel prepared. Gemma sent her showreel over and was then signed up to video and multi-media production company "Take 3"[citation needed]:

"I was put forward for an audition at the BBC and I’m now presenting on CBBC! It’s amazing!"[citation needed]

On September 2, 2007 Hunt presented her final link for CBBC. On 23rd April 2008 Gemma was seen co-presenting the Best of Friends food special.
