Diana, Princess of Wales
In 1997, he was linked romantically with Diana, Princess of Wales. On August 31 of that year, the couple died in a car crash in a Paris underpass. Neither he nor Diana was wearing a seatbelt, and Henri Paul, the driver of their limousine, was drunk. Dodi's father Mohamed Al-Fayed claims that the couple were executed by British intelligence agents[1] Their relationship and death are documented in the 2007 television movie Diana: Last Days of a Princess.
He was originally interred in Brookwood Cemetery near Woking, Surrey but was moved to the Fayed Estate in Oxted, Surrey.
