D-Block is an American rap group founded in the mid 1990s by Sheek Louch, Jadakiss and Styles P as The Warlox or The L.O.X..[1] In 2001, the group changed their name from "The L.O.X." to "D-Block". They were rumored to be signed to Def Jam Records;[2] however, they have announced a successful deal with Interscope Records.[3] As The Lox, the group had a hit with "Money, Power & Respect" in 1998, which peaked at #17 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Artist Description JadakissOne of the original founders of The L.O.X.(before becoming D-Block), Jadakiss worked his way up from a battle rapper to a mainstream artist. He was discovered along with Sheek Louch and Styles P by Mary J. Blige, who introduced them to Sean Combs; they were later signed to Bad Boy Recordsas The L.O.X.. Jadakiss has released two solo albums: Kiss Tha Game Goodbyein 2001and Kiss of Deathin 2004. Sheek LouchAlso one of the founding members of The L.O.X., Sheek Louch is a Yonkers-born rapper who has released three solo albums: Walk Witt Mein 2003, After Taxesin 2005, and most recently, Silverback Gorillain 2008. Styles PThe last of the three original members of The L.O.X., Styles P has released three solo albums to date. His debut, A Gangster and a Gentleman, dropped in 2002. Styles' sophomore album, Time Is Money, was finally released in December of 2006 after being delayed for two years from the original release date. His third and most recent album, Super Gangster, Extraordinary Gentlemanhit stores in 2007.
